Quilts & X's

Over the weekend I finished two quilts.

On 8-17-08 I picked up teamwork and this is what it looked like on the left. I just finished all the X's, 1/4 and 3/4 stitches in it this morning. Picture on the right.

Now on with the backstitching!!!

Gifts from Sarah & Kayden

Sarah from the UK send two great stitching gifts. A birth sampler. As you can see in the picture it didn't make the trip in good shape. The cow was in 3 pieces when I opened the package. So I re framed the piece. I couldn't get the pretty paper cut outs off the glass in one piece to put on the new frame. But I did get a few pieces off and Dara will put them in Kayden's scrapbook.

Sarah also sent the SFE (small finished exchange). I love it and as you can see it did make the trip just fine.

Thank you so very much Sarah! I love them both and Dara love the sampler.

Marta's quilt block is finally done, the coffee angel.

And I started and finished the piece for the tin class that will be at ILCS group in October.

My week

I finished the quilts for my sisters (I have 4 sisters). The quilts are all the same, so they don't fight over them. LOL!

I finished my quilt and I think it is so cute!!! :)

I received this from Mare for the SFE (Small Finished Exchange). It is just too cute. Thanks so much Mare!

Birthday

Well, today is my birthday! I waited for the mail to arrive before opening all my card. Look at all the pretty floss and material I received. I also received my SFE from Kim. Thanks everyone! :)

A few more quilts

Here are a few more quilts that I made. These are for sale. If anyone is interested in them I am just asking $10.00 plus actually shipping. Materials used on the quilts are cotton, fleece, flannel and satin.
