A Week With Kayden

Last Sunday while I was making French Toast, Kayden pulled up a chair and got into the coffee creamer. He poured a line of creamer then was dipping his finger in it. This kid loves to cook. He is always right beside me when I am cooking. One day after we had made something and cleaned up the kitchen. I wanted to lay down, because I was tired. Kayden came in the living room and kept trying to get me up. He went into the kitchen and came back out with the muffin pan, then laid down by me and put the pan on top of us, like a blanket. LMBO! Last Sunday night I decided to stitch, so I pulled out the Crystal Tree and added some beads and some of the ribbon work. Then realized that I didn't have one of the threads, so it went back into the cabinet. So, I took out Hannah. I remember I started stitching on her Labor Day weekend, but I didn't get much done. I must of stitched on her again, but can't remember when it was. This is what she looked like when I pulled her out.
Monday, Kayden does this silly thing with his tongue.
Had to change his shirt that day after helping with dishes, he was soaked!
Kayden loves to take the cushions off the couch. He is so proud of himself.
Monday's Video-Are you eating dog food?
Tuesday, I woke up around 2 am in the morning and was sick, so I spent most of the day in bed.
Kayden learned to use his bucket that holds toys to get up on the couch and chair.
Time to show off the belly!

Wednesday time for a snack. A spoonful of peanut butter.
Ah nap time. He takes his nap around 11 each day. He is really easy to get to sleep for nap time, but when it's bed time, that's another story.

Wednesday eating eggs.

Wednesday night. I went to pick up Dylan from Church and when I returned home, Kayden was doing this. He also pulled out Dara hamper and was pushing it around.

Thursday snack time.

Friday, he love to share his food with Cooper, Dara's dog. He normally doesn't throw it, but drops it on the floor.

He also loves to play on the computer.

There were lots of things that camera, video didn't get. Like when he was tying to get up on the glider chair using the foot stool and got stuck between them hanging in the air. Then when I was sweeping, I shut off the sweeper to go to another room and I heard him screaming. Went running to where he was at and he had his head stuck in the arm whole of the computer hair.

As you can see I still have boxes to deal with. I can't figure out what I am going to do with my Milk Glass collection. I don't want to get rid of them. Some day I would like to have a tea party. I know silly, but some day.

Friday Dara got her acceptance letter from the University of Evansville, with a $12,000.00 scholarship for each year she attends (up to 14 semesters), lives on campus (if she lives off campus the scholarship drops to $8,000.00 a year) and holds a 2.5 grading average.

We are so happy and excited for her, we took her out to eat to celebrate. There are still lots of things to figure out and she still has to apply for other grants and scholarships. She also has the 21st Century Scholarship, which will pay for 4 years of tuition to a State College, but Evansville is a private college. So we have to find out how much it will pay for her. She is planing to take a trip to Evansville soon.

Okay back to my stitching...This is what Hannah looks like now. I stitched until I ran out of a color. Made two trips to JoAnn's this week and still for got to pick up the thread.

Saturday night we were going to watch a movie and I wanted to stitch, couldn't stitch on Crystal Tree, still need the thread. Couldn't stitch on Hannah, forgot to pick up the thread. Pulled out Earthdancer and remembered that I still have to ripper her head off, so she went back in the cabinet. Found these kits Vickie sent to me for the secret sister exchange a year or so ago. They were perfect quick stitch, while watching a movie. Thanks again Vickie!

My Etsy shop...no more sales yet. I spent a good part of the week working on a new piece that ended up in the trash. Rethinking the hole design and I think I have come up with something that will work.

Still learning alot about Etsy, talked with a few people in chat last week and learned a little from them too. And joined the Indiana Group in Etsy. Here is their blog.

I have been using Google Analytics for my Etsy site as of this morning... I have had 537 visitors to my shop!

I did get a few ornaments beaded this week, made two Christmas spiders, started a new larger beaded ornament (still working on it) and made several floating illusion necklaces and bracelets. Still trying to get enough good pictures to add them to my shop. Hope to get that done today. And I have Vicky's ornament done for the exchange in ILCS group!!!

Well, that's my week in a nutshell. Be good, until next time.

Oh Debra Kayden is such a delightful little boy and his character is really developing, he is such a little performer and obviously ADORES his Grandma. I am sooooooo happy for Dara, what great news, what will he study at University. I wish you the very best of luck with all the extra grants and funding and all the plans - it's a big step but she has a wonderful supporting family behind her and for just 4 years of her life now it will be so worth it. WELL DONE DARA XXX. Your stitching is just beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing everything.
