My Week...

I started making birthday gifts. I have 4 sisters and 3 of them have birthdays in January. But I made all of them, plus one for my Mom and my MIL.
Love them so much, I made myself one.

Also made new curtains for the kitchen. Not sure if I live them or not. Everyone likes them but Dara. I like the material but I think it might be a little busy. What do you think?
Monday the kids went back to school, but it started with a 2 hour delay, same with Tuesday and Thursday they were released early. Wednesday night I was watching the news and the weather man said it was going to start snow and stop sometime in May. LOL!
Tuesday I decide to clean the top of the cabinets and touch up the paint in the kitchen. When we moved in they had just painted, but I could see little white spots. Where the paint wasn't thick enough. They left the paint here.
I was just getting started, had the cabinets cleaned off and was touching up the paint above the cabinets. I turned to step down off the step ladder, with a can of paint in one hand and a paint brush in the other, when my first foot slipped. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! That was my butt hitting every step on the ladder then the floor. Bob comes running in and says "What was that?" As I was getting up, I said "I fell, but look I didn't spill any paint".
Later Brandon came in the kitchen and asked what that noise was. He was putting Kayden down for a nap. After I told him he laughed and said it shock the whole house.
When Dara got home she asked what I was doing, after I told her said she never noticed.
I think I am the only one the spots bothered.
Ended up with a bruise on my bunn and one on the backside of my arm. I did get the rest of the kitchen done. Thought I would be sore the next day, but I woke up fine.
Friday I was carrying the vacuum and I ran into the laundry basket and it hit my knee. Ouch! That night I hit by little toe on the corner of the dividing wall in the bathroom. Ouch again!
Saturday night I finished my snowman SAL for the ILCS group, Winter Blues by Stitchy Kitty. This is one of the pieces of material that I hand dyed at one of the Hoosier Stitcher's Retreats.

Your beadwork is gorgeous!!! Your sisters, mother & MIL are going to love them.
The curtains are pretty but I must admit are a little too busy for me too. So glad that you weren't hurt when you fell.
Your snowman SAL is adorable. I am a follower of your blog & would like to be entered to win that pillow tuck.

Ouch! be careful. When I am that klutzy it is because my equalibrium is off and may have a ear infection or something going on with the ears.
