a few things

I received a wonderful package from Mylene.
Thank you so much for the card, chocolates and the ornament.
I love the fuzzy cording you used on the ornament.
Finished another fall pillow, just in time to put away and get out the Christmas decorations. LOL!
I love beading the tiny ornaments.
Finished a few this week, but this is my favorite.
Silver bulb, purple iris beads with dark white gold 22K beads.

Also did a few larger ornaments.
Red bulb with silver lined gold beads and silver lined red accent beads.

This one is for Dylan.
Red bulb, silver lined green accent beads with bright gold 22kt. beads and dark white gold 22kt. beads.

Thanksgiving was very nice and to my surprise Dave talked to Bob.

Had a nice time at my sister's also.

I gave them the ornaments I made for them for Christmas and they all seamed to love them.

My sisters are dressing up as witches for Christmas and they told me I needed a witch outfit. So I have been busy trying to put one together. It was hard to find anything with all the Halloween stuff out of the stores. I tried on-line, but didn't like it or was way to much. Found a dress at Wal-Mart, then went to the craft section at Wal-Mart and bought some beaded fringe and other things to put on the outfit. Went to JoAnn's and bought some fabric paint and they had a few Halloween material left so I bought two different prints. Found a pair of boot slippers at K-Mart. I'll post pictures when the outfit is done.

Another Week

My sewing machine has been fixed!!! I was so happy to get it back, I finished my fall pillow the same day.

My first beaded scissor fob.
Learned a new way to bead Christmas bulbs. I think I like it, will have to try to make more this next week.

Finished several more Christmas bulbs.

And the beads I ordered came in! Hope to get more beading time this next week.

This video was taken last Thursday. Love the giggles!!!

Kayden, Dara & Stitching

Romeo and Chicks (Above)
Ran out of 310 black.
So I pulled out Bob's Christmas Stocking.
This is what it looked like when I started stitching on it again.
(Below)

Friday, Dara started her new job at Apple bee's as a hostess.
Can you see where she is yelling at me, because I am taking her picture. LOL!
Pictures of Kayden he is 5 months old.
You can see he has hair now and two teeth.

A few finishes

More Christmas ornaments.
I just love doing the beads.
The snowman below, is the finish I had at Shari's house last Saturday.
The material I dyed at the Hoosier Stitcher's retreat.
The picture doesn't show the true color of the material.
It is really blue with yellow.
This ornament is for Kayden.
It is his first ornament. I was very happy to make his first ornament.
The bulb is gold, beads are light yellow and baby blue.
I placed a large order for beads.
Just waiting to hear what my finial damage is.

A wonderful Saturday

This picture was taken last Monday all the pretty leaves have fallen.

I had such a wonderful Saturday. First I went to Shari house for a stitch-in. We had a great time together. I gave her the prizes for winning a game on the ILCS group and I also made her a blanket (picture above) on Thursday. Then on Friday my sewing machine stopped working.
I did finish a little snowman piece and a little progress on my Romeo and Chicks.
Saturday night I met up with a bunch of old high school friends.
One came from Florida and one from Chicago. I was a lot of fun.
I was really surprised to find out how many of them still live in Argos.
Most in the picture are from the class of 1985.
No this is not my graduating class.
But I went to a very small school and you knew everyone in the school.

I hope we all get together again soon.
