A few finishings...
Take a bath by Calico Crossroads, all the frames were made by Shari's hubby.
I picked up the frames Friday and framed the pieces that night.
Stitched in 2010
Clear your ears by Calico Crossroads.
Stitched in 2010
Brush your teeth by Calico Crossroads.
Stitched in 2010
Last year Kayden made this frame for me. But I needed it modified for the stitched piece to fit in the opening and Shari's hubby did a great job. Dara started stitching this piece in 2007 and I finished it in 2010
Be Mine, sorry I stitched this so long ago. I don't remember who the designer is or what year I stitched it.

Feels so good to have some of my stitching in frames and hanging on the walls.

Tutorial

I added another tutorial "Pin Keeps", last week. Feel free to share with your cross stitching friends. I will try to put one together on framing your cross stitch soon.

Hope everyone had a great week and thanks for stopping by. If you have the time, please leave a comment.

Can't wait for summer to wear my new Flip Flops!!!
I almost have all the pattern listed at Etsy, The Bead Coop, Art Fire and eCrater.
Macrame
Does anyone remember macrame? I made this necklace for KC. She found the bead when she went to Mexico with her family during Christmas.
Close Up
And here she is wearing the necklace.
Who is KC, well she is a friend of Dylan's but is Dara's age. After high school she moved in with her boyfriend and it didn't work out. And she asked if she could move in for about 2 months before she went to Fort Wayne for college.
Cleaning
Then I clean out my bedroom including the closet. Pull out things that have been in boxes for years.
I found a few of the out fits that I kept from with my kids where little and I just had to get Kayden in them. Here is one that I bought for Dara. Dylan also wore it. Kayden is almost too big.

Here is a picture of Dara in the same clothes. The back of the photo has not info, only Dara & Misty. That is the name of the dog. LOL!

Here is a picture of Dylan in the same clothes. The back of the photo says Dylan is 10 1/2 months old.

Found a jacket that I stitched tweety bird on the back when Dara was small.
Oh Kayden is 2 1/2 years old.
Last Week...
New Beading Patterns!
Lil' Bundle of Flowers Ring, made with size 11 and 15 seed beads and 4mm round beads, tri-angle weave.
Lil' Bundle of Flowers Earrings, made with size 11 and 15 seed beads, 4mm round beads and using the tri-angle weave.
Lil' Bundle of Flowers Bracelet, made with 11 and 15 size seed beads, 4mm round beads and using the tri-angle weave.

Garden Flower Necklace, made with size 11 and 8 seed beads and 4mm round beads.
Again I can't wait for summer to wear this one! I think it would look great with a sun dress.
Stitching
I made a little progress on Special Delivery.

And last but not least a video of Kayden in his flying car.

Well, that was my two weeks, hope you had a good one.

Life
Well...Dara, Brandon and Kayden have moved in with Brandon's Dad. They just have a small pile of things left in the dinning room to move and a few of Kayden's outside toys.
I miss Dara and Kayden so much!!! I actually cried one night because I was missing Dara. We have picked up Kayden at least 3 times last week. He is coming over tomorrow night to stay the night. I think we will make sugar cookies while he is here.
Craft Room
It has taken me most of the week to paint Dara's bedroom, which will be my craft room. I decided on Little Lilac and Blackberry Jam for the colors. My plan was to paint swirls on the wall with the blackberry jam, but I didn't like the way it turned out. So, I put a call into my niece Kelly, who is great with drawing and painting to see if she is willing to come over and paint my swirls. I just called her last night and left a message, so I am waiting to hear from her.

Also continued working to my patterns to make them better and still printing out and kitting up - patterns and kits for Beads and Something More shop.
New Job
My new job is going pretty good, the other night I worked with the lady that hired me and she told me I was very good.
Other Things...
Looks like Brandon, Dara and Kayden are moving out. Bob had several talks with Brandon about him staying here...the extra expense of having someone in the house and he doesn't help out around the house (unless you ask him).
Last night when we got back from the family get together, Dara was packing up stuff and taking it out to her car. That is when we found out. I asked Dara if Brandon was helping her, she just glared at me and said "don't even go there". (okay a little back ground...Brandon broke his foot about a week ago. So he can't do anything.) I said there is no reason why he can't help sort and pack. He spent the night laying in bed playing on his lap top.
So, it looks like I will be getting a craft room!!! To be continued...

More Beading
I also made this necklace and earrings for myself.
And this bracelet for Dylan and a matching necklace and one for Kayden too, but I didn't get a picture.

I also made Dara a ring and myself a ring, but the picture was too blurry.

Birthday

Thursday was my birthday, but it started on Wednesday when my Mom stopped by work and gave me a sweater. Then when I checked the mail I had a package from Mylene. Thanks so much Mylene, I love it and your finishing is so neat and beautifully done. Then Thursday when I got home from work there was a card stuck in my front door, from my sister Carol. She gave me a G.C. to Beads and Something More.
And what a nice surprised when I found my bead work on the home page of StitchN-Chat.

Classes

I did my first two classes (Floating Necklace and Metal Crochet Necklace )at Beads and Something More in Mishawaka, they went very good and everyone seem to have fun in class. Next Saturday's class will be Star Necklace, class is at 3:00.
