I Hate Hackers!!!

Hacked

Friday eve I received an email from one of the beading stores I purchase my beads from. The email said that their system had been hacked and the hacker could have stolen credit card information and email information from 220 people. Well, I happen to be one of them. On Aug. 3rd I was in the bank trying to get my money from purchases that were charged to my account that were not mine. On that day they told me that I would get my money back. So, thinking that was over I went on with my life. The day before I received that email, my email was hacked! So anyone that received an email from me PLEASE delete it right away. That night I checked my bank account and two of the purchases that the bank said they were removing and I was getting my money back-they let them go through on Aug. 8th. Saturday morning I went to the bank, to find out that the lobby isn't open on Saturdays, went through the drive through, they couldn't help me and I had to drive to the next town that had a lobby open. So, off I went...this time I was told I had to file a police report before they could do anything. THIS WAS NEVER SAID TO ME THE FIRST TIME, I was HOT! to say the least. So, back to my town to file a police report. By this time all banks are closed, so there was no more I could do. Monday (today) I was there before they opened the lobby, again they assured me that I would get my money back, but it would take up to 3 days!!!

Studio

A few changes to my studio... I now have the pictures of from the ILCS retreat that was in New Jersey and Tennessee. Two of my favorite retreats.

My birthday gift from Bob

Monday my new bead rack arrived, put it together that day and hung up my beads, the only problem is I didn't order enough hooks. I need at least 150 more hooks. I think this will work out much better then the one I bought last year. It started leaning and even through I reinforced it twice it still fall over, right before I bought the new one. Oh the black chair is a new addition from the last update.

Here is a picture of the old one.

Sunday

Was the perfect temp day. Kayden and I had such a good time together.

We even let Myrtle out for most of the day.

Well, that was my week. Hope your week was much better.

Organizing

Kayden
Kayden came over and spent the night last Monday night. We made sugar cookies. We had such a good time. He got so excited when I showed him the apple cookie cutter. He loves apples.

He even decorated the cookies by himself. This week I made Kayden a Halloween pillow. A couple of years ago I made him a Halloween blanket, the pillow will match his blanket. He came over again Saturday night and spent the night again, I give him his pillow then.
Etsy
With all the painting, cleaning, moving and organizing the last two weeks. I haven't had much time to work on my etsy shop, but I did get this necklace done. I listed the pattern and kit in my shop. I this is also my "Little Black Dress Challenge" at Ohio Beaders yahoo group. No you don't have to live in Ohio to be in the group, just in the surrounding area.

Studio
Well it doesn't look like I will get the swirls on my wall, my niece hasn't returned any of my text or facebook messages. So, now I plan is getting new curtains and painting them. I think the room needs more of the blackberry jam in it.
My mess...what to do with all the beads, buttons, charms and wire??? Well I ordered at stand with hud pegs and I ordered 3 extra huds. It arrived on Friday and tried to get it put together before I had to go to work at Miller's. But one of the center pieces that screws in was stripped. Saturday I put that piece on top and started organizing. I got to all the huds full and was going to add the extras I ordered but they didn't send the stoppers. So I am using a temporary stopper.
And my mess went from this to...
This!
And there is room for more huds to be added. Then I can finish the small pile on the floor below the stand.Welcome
To my studio...Open the door, along the west wall...Computer desk, file cabinet. Yes, there is a small pile of papers I need to put in the pc, file and a few recipes I need to type up. If you look close you can see the necklace I made at the last Hoosier Stitchers Retreat, hanging on the knob. Then the cabinet with odds and ends for different crafting projects, freebie patterns that are in 3 ring binders and organized (Christmas, Seasons, 4 of July, etc.) and a few folders with leaflets that aren't organized and a couple of binders with different finishing ideas in them. I found that I need two more 3 ring binders one for beading and another one for crochet patterns. So, they are still things that need to be done. LOL! Isn't that how it always is?!? And on top is a pile of things that I need to take to Shari's...frames that need glass and things that need frames and a few more leaflets. Then along the North wall...is my stitching area. With winter around the corner I decided to leave my cross stitch quilt out that the ILCS group made me a few years ago. It is so pretty and colorful, I just love this quilt and it is still is new condition. Stitching chair, light and in the end table are wips, things I want to stitch soon and a few small kits. On top of the end table are projects I am stitching on now and stitching goodies. Stand is behind and can easily be pulled out when needed.I have added a few things to the wall. Then on the East wall is my working desk. For sewing or beading or what ever I am doing at the time. Small basket under the working desk is full of small cut pieces of material and a bag of cross stitch pieces that need to be finished into something. And I still need to clean and organize the draw.Along the South wall is the closet and the TV. Yes, it is an old TV, but it works great. And a small organizer hanging on the back of the door. Ignore the cord across the floor that is for the computer, need to do something with that, I have already tripped over it twice.I wanted to put in new floor, but with winter around the corner I didn't feel like I should be spending that kind of money.
Friday after work we (Bob and I) got a called from a friend said they were going to "Summer's End" and wanted to know if we wanted to go. I had heard of this for years and I have heard A LOT of stories about it, but we have never went. So, we decided to go. WOW! What an eye opener that was. That was my week, hope your week was good. Now I am off to stitch. If you stop by don't expect to see my studio so neat, it never stays that way. LOL!
Edit...there were a lot of questions about my spinning hub stand. It is from Gershel Bros. The one that I bought is (FS48) Floor Spinner Rack with (FSHUB) Extra Hub.

Life
Well...Dara, Brandon and Kayden have moved in with Brandon's Dad. They just have a small pile of things left in the dinning room to move and a few of Kayden's outside toys.
I miss Dara and Kayden so much!!! I actually cried one night because I was missing Dara. We have picked up Kayden at least 3 times last week. He is coming over tomorrow night to stay the night. I think we will make sugar cookies while he is here.
Craft Room
It has taken me most of the week to paint Dara's bedroom, which will be my craft room. I decided on Little Lilac and Blackberry Jam for the colors. My plan was to paint swirls on the wall with the blackberry jam, but I didn't like the way it turned out. So, I put a call into my niece Kelly, who is great with drawing and painting to see if she is willing to come over and paint my swirls. I just called her last night and left a message, so I am waiting to hear from her.
