Around the House
Patio blocks at one end of the house on the backside. They were never put in right and as you can see they have settled and water would run to the house instead of away from the house.

Bob pulled them all up.

I power washed them.

Then Bob dug out the dirt and put it around the concrete porch and we planted new grass seed. We still need to finish this project.
I also powder washed the house. It did take a lot of the black scum off, but it didn't come as clean as I wanted it to.

A Few Things For Myself
I made a few things for myself this week.
Earrings, necklace, bracelet and ring.

Ring and bracelet.

I hope to get the patterns up on Etsy next week.
Goodies in the Mail
I was RAK by Pam E. Thanks so much Pam, I love the scissors and the material.

Then I won this kit from Donna's Blog. Thanks Donna W.
ETSYWant is Etsy...it is a place where you can buy and sell, handmade arts and crafts, vintage and supplies. Everything I show in my blog about Etsy is in my shop and yes, you can purchase it from there. Click links in this post or look to the right.

My little turtle Moore died. I am not sure what happened to him. I was very sad.
On facebook I found an old high school friend. Found out she lives across from us through the alley. She also told me about a job lead, (always looking for a part-time job for the winter) and she cross stitches. She was looking for snowman cross stitch patterns so she came over and went through a few of my stash piles. I think it may have been a little overwhelming. LOL!
I applied for the job and Got It!!! I start next Tuesday.
Bob and I did 22 quart bags of corn and I think we will be doing more tomorrow. I am swapping with my Mom corn for green beans.
Signed up Dylan for his Junior year in High School. It is so hard to believe that my baby boy only has two more years of school.
Hope you all had a good week and enjoyed your weekend.
