Stitching and Sewing

Friday I stitched up this tin topper for the class at ILCS group. I will be adding material to this tin. Have to go through my material, I hope I have something that matches.
Sunday I thought I would make my own cushion covers for the glider-rocker. This glider was my Grandma Cummins. I have had it for years and the cushions were falling apart. This was the first try as you can see I made the back cushion too small so I had to start over. I was going to toss out the first cushion, but then I thought (this is all new material, I shouldn't be tossing it out) and I came up with another use for the too small cushion. We are using it when we need to change Kayden on the floor. That way he has a little cushion to lay on.
The below picture is the second try, which looks alot better, if I do say so myself. It is on the front porch and I plan to paint the glider white. I have the primer, paint and gloss finish. I also plan on making different covers to change with the seasons.
