The Hoosier Stitcher's group had a retreat at Rivervale in Mitchell Indiana.
I had such a wonderful time. It was so nice to see the ladies again and meet new stitchers.
The retreat started Thursday Oct. 16th.
My day started out as normal getting the kids ready for school and taking care of Kayden. Bob took my car in for a quick oil change and check up. When Bob returned with my car he took me and Kayden out for breakfast. Took Kayden to the babysitter and Bob left for work and I loaded my car up and took off. The drive down to southern Indiana was beautiful. I had forgotten how pretty southern Indiana is.
I made a stop at Fancy Works and purchase the pattern below.
I was the second to arrive to the retreat. Coleen was there to greet me. I did get a lot of stitching done!!! I am proud to say I have finished another page on Rome and Chicks piece. I have 1/2 of a page left to stitch and the backstitching. Picture below.

Liz gave a net beading class. When they had posted this on the group I had no idea what they were talking about. But it is a beaded ornament. The picture below is the ornament I made for the class. These are really fun to make. Thank you Liz for the class.
I just went crazy with the beaded ornaments. When we went shopping I bought several more ornaments to bead. Ornaments below are more that I finished at the retreat.
Below is a picture of the group that attended the retreat.
Coleen drove four of us to Evansville Indiana to a little stitching shop called Stitches from the Heart. Picture below is the pattern I purchased.I think Julie won the queen of frogging.
Coleen gave a material and floss dying class. Below is a picture of just a few of the pieces that were dyed. We filled up at least two tables and had several pieces drying on the ground.
Below is the material that I dyed, minus the one piece that I gave to Michelle.
Here is one of the many pictures that I took on my drive home. This picture was taken between Rochester IN and Plymouth IN. The sunset was so pretty.

Marsha's excuse to get off work "Needle Procedure".
Me getting lost trying to find Fancy Works and calling the shop for directions.
Coleen and Michelle dying with berries.
Coleen and I walking around the grounds and dancing on the outdoor stage.
On the drive to Evansville and back to the retreat - I crawled in the back and took a nap, would wake up and ask "Are we there yet?"
Coleen's little hip dance at the gas station.
